| Local Transportation Funding Increases 32.5% The Legislature and Executive have come to agreement on the NYSDOT 2021-22 Capital Program. Thanks to the incredibly strong advocacy efforts of everyone they have agreed to increase local highway aid by a record 32.5 percent. In addition, $90M in local highway aid that was held last year has been appropriated. Please find the breakdown of these funding increases below – we will have a complete transportation review once the complete budget has been adopted.
